Establishment of intensive cultivation model for spring peanut with high yield on the converted land in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces

Abstract; A model of intensive cultivation for spring peanut with high-yield on land converted from inefficient rice-growing was established by the Agricultural Science Institute of Northern Central Vietnam in period of 2016 - 2018 on the area of about 140 ha in Nghe An and Ha tinh provinces. The results showed that the peanut yield of model in Nghe An was recorded at 39.5 - 40.1 quintals/ha and the economic efficiency increased by 25.7 - 41.32% while in Ha Tinh reached 38.17 - 39.38 quintals/ha and the economic eAìciency increased by 27.7 - 43.4% in comparison to that of the previous crop.
