Establishment of production models for flower and vegetable crops in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces

Abstract: The study established 5 ha production model for winter cabbage in Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province; 15 ha for winter cabbage in Dien Chau district, Nghe An province; 0.2 ha for high quality lily in Nam Dan and Nghi Loc districts, Nghe An province for the program of new-style rural communes. 370 farmers were trained on production technique of safe cabbage by VietGAP. The economic efficiency of cabbage production model increased more than 37.8% in comparison to the control; the net profit reached 98.692 - 121.525 mill.VND/ha; the economic efficiency of lily production model increased 32.7 - 37% with the net profit of 2.933 - 3.395 mill.VND/ha. The profit of chrysanthemum production model reached 234.997 - 304.410 mill.VND/ha, increased 23.7 - 27.2% in comparison to the control.
